UPDATED: Comptroller Scanlon to Hold Town Hall Forum at Lyme Public Hall, July 30
Connecticut Comptroller Sean Scanlon will bring his statewide listening tour to Lyme Public Hall on July 21 to hear from residents and share what he learned along the way.

LYME, CT – Connecticut State Comptroller Sean Scanlon will host a town hall forum at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at the Lyme Public Hall.
Organizers said the visit will conclude the statewide listening tour, which brought Scanlon to all 169 cities and towns in the state.
Scanlon, who is completing his first term as comptroller, announced his reelection campaign in January and will face Republican candidate Jen Tooker in November’s general election.
The event will give residents an opportunity to hear what Scanlon says he learned from communities across the state and discuss issues related to Connecticut’s economy and affordability challenges, including energy costs, housing, healthcare and prescription drug prices. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and share their perspectives.
As state comptroller, Scanlon oversees Connecticut’s finances and has worked on initiatives involving Medicaid, SNAP benefits, pension reforms and property tax policy during his first term in office, according to event organizers. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
