Don’t forget — the Duck River Garden Club’s program on historic Connecticut gardens takes place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 in Old Lyme’s Memorial Town Hall.

Laurie Masciandaro, site manager at Roseland Cottage, will explore the design, history, and appeal of 16 celebrated gardens across the state. The public is welcome and donations will be accepted.

Founded in 1970, the Duck River Garden Club invites members and guests to monthly educational programs, field trips, and community projects that celebrate gardening, nature and environmental stewardship in Old Lyme and East Lyme.
