Lyme-Old Lyme Boys Basketball Holds Off Cromwell, Remains Unbeaten in Shoreline
Lyme-Old Lyme boys eked out a win to stay 10-0 in the conference, while the girls showed progress despite another tough week.

LYME-OLD LYME, CT – The Lyme-Old Lyme High School boys basketball team eked out a win over Cromwell Friday night, escaping with a 53-51 win to remain undefeated in the conference.
Lyme-Old Lyme junior Eddie Fiske Jr. scored 23 points, and Colman Curtiss-Reardon added 12. Cromwell’s Xavier Hodge scored 27 points.
The win puts Lyme-Old Lyme at 11-1 overall and 10-0 in Shoreline play.
The team travels to Portland on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.
Also Friday, the Lyme-Old Lyme girls team fell 54-27 to Cromwell. Head coach Christine Corah credited the team with steady improvement and strong fundamentals throughout the game.
Reagan Christopher led the Wildcats with nine points, five rebounds and two assists, while Jillian Kleefeld added six points, seven rebounds, six steals, a block and an assist.
The team lost to Montville 41-23 earlier in the week.
The girls are 1-12 overall and 1-9 in the Shoreline conference.
They will play Valley Regional at home on Tuesday.
