‘Native Plants and Habitats of Southern Connecticut’ Talk

Jim Natale will deliver a talk titled “Native Plants and Habitats of Southern Connecticut” in advance of a guided walk in May.

Natale, owner of the Groton-based Wilder Gardens, LLC, will explore the vegetation of local preserves and discuss the threats invasive plants pose to the natural ecosystem. Attendees will see rarely observed native plants that are at risk of local extinction and learn what homeowners can do to support biodiversity in their own landscapes.
