Elephants in Winter Sale … And More

The First Congregational Church of Old Lyme’s Benevolent Society will host its annual Elephants in Winter sale, featuring holiday items collected during the church’s White Elephant Sale intake in July. Shoppers can browse Christmas decorations, wreaths, holiday china, glassware, linens, sweaters, toys, books, candles, ornaments and other items at bargain prices.
The church’s Partnership Committees will also hold their sixth annual Holiday Sale, offering Haitian arts and crafts, imported olive oils and soaps, Lakota jewelry and crafts and handmade items from the Ladies Who Stitch.
Proceeds from both sales will benefit local, national and international charities. The church is located at 2 Ferry Road, though organizers advise visitors to enter 4 Ferry Road into their GPS.
