Jewett Preserve Hikes

Join Jim Natale in a guided exploration of Jewett Preserve on Macintosh Road in Lyme.

For more adventurous hikers, a 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. “rugged ramble” will traverse swamps, wetlands and rocky terrain. Participants should bring water, lunch and snacks.

A moderately easy walk will follow from 3 to 5 p.m.

Jim Natale is a recognized native plant expert with more than 60,000 observations submitted to the iNaturalist app. His mission with Wilder Gardens is to foster a regional native plant community and encourage stewardship of local natural areas for the benefit of both wildlife and people.
