Letter to the Editor: Labriola Will Roll Up Her Sleeves and Get to Work for the 23rd District
An Old Saybrook resident says Labriola’s commitment to transparency, accountability and fiscal responsibility make her the right choice.
To the Editor:
When we elect someone to represent us, we should expect more than promises. We should expect that representatives to work for us day in and day out, to be accountable to the people they represent and to protect the foundational values that make our community great.
That is why I support Barbara Labriola for State Representative of the 23rd District.
Barbara understands that government works best when it is transparent, honest and accountable. She believes elected officials have a responsibility to listen to the people they serve, be good stewards of taxpayer dollars and work every day to make our communities stronger.
I know Barbara to be someone who takes her responsibilities seriously. Having served as Old Saybrook’s Treasurer, Barbara has firsthand experience with the importance of responsible and accountable government.
We need a representative who will roll up her sleeves, listen to us and work for us – not just during an election, but every day. I believe Barbara Labriola will do exactly that. Please vote for Barbara on November 3.
