This Week’s Lineup: Two Free Summer Concerts Bring Doo Wop and Polka to Old Lyme, July 23

Two venues, two bands and one summer evening of free live music await concertgoers in Old Lyme this Thursday.

OLD LYME, CT – Whether you prefer doo wop in the park or polka by the beach, Old Lyme has you covered with free concerts on Thursday, July 23.

The Lymes’ Senior Center will host The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue as part of its Summer Sounds Concert Series. Free ice cream will be available at 5:30 p.m., followed by a performance of modern takes on classic harmonies from 6 to 7:15 p.m.

At Sound View Beach, Maestro’s Men will take the stage near the Hartford Avenue flagpole from 7 to 8:30 p.m., performing polka hits as part of the Thursday Night Concert series.

Both concerts are free, family-friendly and open to the public. Just bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a summer night of live music.
