OLD SAYBROOK, CT – The Estuary has announced a $45,000 donation from Reynolds’ Subaru and Subaru of America through the Share the Love campaign in support of The Estuary’s Meals on Wheels program.

According to The Estuary, its Meals on Wheels program received support from customers who chose the program as Suburu’s hometown charity when purchasing a new car during the campaign period. Reynolds’ Subaru also matched the national donations, increasing the total impact for older adults in the community.

The donation will help The Estuary continue providing nutritious meals to homebound seniors while also offering meaningful check-ins that help reduce isolation.

The Estuary, a regional nonprofit senior center, serves more than 1,000 clients annually and provides about 100,000 meals through Meals on Wheels and congregate dining. The programs are partially funded through Norwich-based Senior Resources, the regional agency on aging, using Older Americans Act funds.
