Hospice Program Recruiting Volunteers and Veteran Companions
Volunteers are needed for companionship, respite opportunities, veteran-to-veteran support and more.

LYME/OLD LYME, CT – Yale New Haven Health at Home’s hospice program is looking for volunteers to help provide support for patients and families in communities including Lyme and Old Lyme.
Volunteer opportunities include patient companionship, caregiver respite, pet therapy and activities such as art or music.
The program is also recruiting veterans to work with fellow veterans, helping them share life stories, access benefits or take part in recognition ceremonies.
Volunteers receive free training and support from the hospice team.
