NEW LOCATION: Pollinator Groups to Host Native Gardening Program in Lyme
“Building Layers for Biodiversity” will focus on designing native plant gardens that support wildlife, prevent invasive weeds and make the landscape more beautiful.

LYME, CT — Lyme Pollinator Pathway and Pollinator Pathway East Lyme will host a presentation by Connecticut College Arboretum horticulturalist Anna Fialkoff on Saturday, Feb. 28.
“Building Layers for Biodiversity” will focus on designing native plant gardens that support wildlife, prevent invasive weeds and make the landscape more beautiful. Fialkoff will share tips on grouping trees, shrubs, and perennials, along with recommended plants to support pollinators and birds.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lyme Public Library, 482 Hamburg Road (Route 156). Refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.
