Lyme-Old Lyme Boys, Girls Basketball Earn Sweep Over Old Saybrook
A one-point boys victory and a second-half girls rally led Lyme-Old Lyme past Old Saybrook in the Shoreline Conference matchup.

OLD LYME, CT – The Lyme-Old Lyme High School boys and girls basketball teams put the “sweep” in the annual “Sweep the Bridge” matchup Tuesday against Old Saybrook, thanks to a one-point boys win and a second-half rally for the girls.
The boys beat the Rams in a tight 55–54 contest.
Will McKeever led Lyme-Old Lyme with 14 points, followed by Oliver Wyman with 13 and Eddie Fiske with 10.
Old Saybrook’s Tavin Royster scored 27 points.
Lyme-Old Lyme is 14–2 overall and 13–1 in the Shoreline Conference.
The Wildcats will play Westbrook on the road in a 6 p.m. game on Thursday.
On the girls’ side, Lyme-Old Lyme was trailing 16-14 at halftime before coming back for a 34–29 victory.
Jillian Kleefeld led with 15 points, one assist and one steal. Sybil Neary contributed six points, three rebounds, three steals, and four blocks. Reagan Christopher had six points, two rebounds, three steals and a block, while Vicky Glaras recorded five points, six rebounds and a steal.
Addi Sapia delivered two points, two rebounds, five steals, and one block. Viv Boller had five rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
The Lyme-Old Lyme girls play Westbrook in a Friday home game at 5:30 p.m.
