Letter to the Editor: Kudos to Old Lyme’s Public Works Team
A resident writes in with praise for the town’s handling of last week’s winter storm under the leadership of Public Works Director Ed Adanti.
To the Editor:
I would like to commend Ed Adanti and the town crew for, what I believe, was an outstanding job cleaning the roads after last week’s snow storm. Having traveled over many other towns’ roads after the storm, I’ve seen just what an excellent job the town crew did under the supervision of Ed.
Every time I have called the town garage, usually about what I perceive to be a safety issue, Ed has either called me or by the next day addressed the issue. I think we should all be thankful to our town workers and the leaders for their dedication and commitment to all of us.
