OLD LYME — Lyme Street will be bustling this evening with the Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library BookCellar’s Holiday Book Sale, from 4 to 7 p.m., at their temporary location at 44 Lyme St. All books, CDs and DVDs will be half price.
Meanwhile, Lyme Art Association will be hosting an Opening Receptionfrom 5 to 7 p.m. for its Deck The Walls exhibition with refreshments, music and more.
The Old Lyme Historical Society hall at 55 Lyme Street has been festively decorated with a 12-foot white spruce tree and a collection of vintage Santas. The hall will be open this evening from 4 to 6pm for a book and merchandise sale. There will be books, calendars, notecards, tea towels, etc. for all of the history buffs on your list.
And Con Brio presents its Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. at Christ The King Church.
Then there are a multitude of events on Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, followed by many more over the weeks leading up to Christmas Day.
