Thank You Reception & Info Fair Hosted by OL Recycling Committee

OLD LYME — On Thursday, Dec. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., Old Lyme’s Recycling Committee is hosting a Thank You Reception and Information Fair in the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library Community Room. The committee invites the community to join them in thanking the TREX Challenge volunteers. These are Lyme-Old Lyme (LOL) parents, who haul the plastic bags collected by LOL Schools students, to Big Y so these can be recycled into decking and outdoor furniture instead of going into the trash. All are welcome to come and enjoy holiday treats, get tips on how to reduce waste and recycle more … even during the holidays! All are welcome and admission is free.
