LYME, CT—The George House Tag Sale will be held at the Lyme Public Hall Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will feature housewares, furniture, tools, jewelry, and unexpected treasures.
Proceeds will go toward the maintenance of the historic 1887 Lyme Public Hall, Lyme’s Bacdayan Local History Archives, and programs for the public.
Intake for donation drop-off of tag sale items at the Lyme Public Hall will be available on numerous dates before the sale. The remaining dates are:
- 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, Sept.10
- 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 11
The Public Hall welcomes good quality items such as solid wood furniture, tools, antiques, jewelry, housewares, fine china and linens, sporting goods, musical instruments and gift items.
Note that the organization is unable to accept large appliances, upholstered or particle-board furniture, consumer electronics (TVs, computers, fax machines, etc.), large exercise equipment, clothing or books.
