
LYME — On Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m., Lyme Ambulance Association is offering a free American Heart Association (AHA) Family & Friends CPR Course.
Children age 10 and up are welcome with an adult plus anyone else from grandparents to babysitters!

Lyme Ambulance Association., Inc. is a private 501(c)3 committed to providing highly responsive emergency medical response and community education.
Young children may not have the strength to perform the skills as well as adults but this course will focus on what they are able to do and what to expect.
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the following lifesaving skills:
· Adult Hands-Only CPR and AED
· Adult CPR With Breaths
• Mild and Severe Airway Block: How to Help a Choking Child CPR and AED
· Mild and Severe Airway Block: How to Help a Choking Child
· Infant CPR
· Mild and Severe Airway Block: How to Help a Choking Infant
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
All participants will receive a workbook with wallet card.
