The stories of commercial transportation in the Connecticut River Valley will come to life on Thursday, May 16, at 7 p.m. when the Old Lyme Historical Society, Inc. (OLHSI) presents Steve Cryan, who will give a lecture titled, “Transportation of a Bygone Era”
Using his colorful storytelling technique and vibrant images, Cryan will take the audience on a wonderful journey through place and time in this one-of-a-kind presentation featuring his photographs of tugboats and steam trains.
The event will be held at the OLHSI building at 55 Lyme St., Old Lyme. All are welcome.
Suggested donation at the door is $8 (two for $15) and the proceeds will benefit the OLHSI.
